Dear Supporters:
The Black Catholic Ministry Commission (BCMC) of the Diocese of Camden, N.J., is a duly authorized faith-based organization. For over 20 years, our mission has been to create awareness of the significant historical contributions of Catholics of African & African American descent from across the diaspora to the present-day Catholic Church in America. With your past tax-deductible help and support, the BCMC has been able to supply scholarships to aspiring eighth-grade students to help families defray the cost of Catholic school education.
As you know, the pandemic environment forced us to cancel the 2020 Afternoon of Jazz (AOJ), and we relied on a virtual format for the AOJ in 2021. This year, we hope to have you join us for our traditional in-person Afternoon of Jazz. Seating is limited so that you may safely and thoroughly enjoy the entertainment portion of our annual event.
Your support is vital to the success of BCMC awarding as many scholarships as possible for the upcoming 2022-2023 academic year.
